carrying. The normal range for Body Mass Index (
BMI ) is between 19 and 25. The higher your Body
Mass Index ( BMI ) the more at risk you are for
Diabetes, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Cancers and

BMI is below 18.5:
If you are an athlete this might be a desirable
weight for you. However, in many cases a BMI below
18.5 indicates that you are underweight and have
low body fat. You can increase your muscle mass

and healthy eating.
BMI between 18.5 and 24.9:
This BMI range is desirable for most people. This
BMI range is associated with people that are healthy
and active. This BMI range has a low incidence of
serious illness. This is also the range that most
people strive as their fitness goal.
BMI between 25 and 29.9:
People in this BMI Range are said to be overweight.
People that fall in this BMI category has an increased
risk of serious illness. If you fall in this range
you should consider an exercise
program and a healthy
